SAILING and BOATING
Shhhhh! Please don’t tell anyone that summers in the Pacific Northwest are better than anywhere else in the world! And there is no better place to be than out on the water with Mt. Rainier (14,410 ft.) looming above. Actually, sailing is a year round event for many with races scheduled every month of the year. I race casually every Wednesday with our local club.
From peaceful South Puget Sound and the amazing San Juan Islands in Washington to the beautiful Gulf Islands and warm waters of Desolation Sound in Canada, there are myriad Gunkholes to explore on your own. Want to go further….take the Inside Passage all the way to Alaska! For more adventure, circumnavigate Vancouver Island. There is a lifetime of Coastal Cruising right from your own slip in Eagle Harbor, Port Madison, Fletcher Bay or Blakely Harbor.
